The Annual Installation ceremony of the Rotary Club of Montego Bay was held at the Day O' Plantation during a period of loosened restrictions by the Government of Jamaica. It was a well needed fellowship event that had members seeing each other probably for the first time that year, face to face. The media coverage of the event created a splash in newspapers in the weeks to follow highlighting the newly installed President Amber-Gail Grandison, youngest President of the club, first Rotaractor to transition and trained air traffic controller. The new President promised a year of growth and an ambitious Presidential project to build a home for a needy family in collaboration with the Food for the Poor.
